‘So the biggest problem I always had with exercise is that we had a love, hate relationship. It loved me and I hated it. I grew up riding horses and they did all the exercise for me. So I was predominantly lazy in that regard. And then I did what most women do when they have a life-changing experience and mine was going through a separation.
The one thing I could control at that time was getting healthy and getting fit.
My top three tips would be, find something you love and stick to it, surround yourself with some really terrific people to help motivate you and do it for the right reasons would be my three top tips. Let's be honest., the real reason I did it at the time was to get skinny. So I started with the skinny, I stayed for the healthy, and what I found is that I was planning on doing it for a month and nearly seven years later, I'm still here.
And why am I still here? Cause it's fun. And it's the best group of people and it's different every day.

I think that's been the key- is that every day I get out of bed and it's not unusual anymore, I just wake up, I get up, I go and train. And if I don't train, usually get text messages from the other guys or, you know, get a bit of a, Hey, where are you this morning? So I like the fact that I’m missed, if I'm not there. And I also like to make sure they keep me honest, because I don't want to let anyone down. And if I say, I'm going to be there, I'll be there.’

How did Motivation Makeover Program start?
The Motivation Makeover was born after years of training women face to face.
Brian built a wealth of knowledge and awareness around the issues his female clients faced and how to overcome them.
He developed a program to specifically help the women he worked with and it was built around sustainable nutrition protocols, flexible exercise programs and mindset training to regain self-belief.
Brian saw first hand what his partner went through after the birth of their first child. He witnessed what motherhood really brings - sleep deprivation, self doubt, confidence issues, putting everyone else first, and having that feeling of "wanting your old body back". He saw his partner experience all these feelings and have natural weight gain, all of which lead to a huge drop in self confidence leading to social anxiety. At a time when his partner was "meant to be" feeling her happiest, she was at her lowest.
It was something they’d never experienced before, after 6 months of Brian supporting his partner with nutrition, training but more importantly mindset - they both learnt so much. His partner had a new lifestyle which was sustainable and more importantly flexible around the new family dynamic - allowing her to still eat her favourite foods and prepare meals that worked for the whole family. She regained her self confidence, was looking and feeling her best again , and best of all was living a life she loved.
